About this document
A product listing sheet stages your catalog before it goes live: SKU, title, price, quantity and status for every item in one view. It's the difference between launching a batch of products and launching a pile of browser tabs.
When to use it
- Preparing a batch of new listings — photos pending, prices half-decided.
- Reconciling what's listed across a marketplace and your own site.
- Season changeovers, where old listings retire as new ones land.
Getting it right
- Invent SKUs even where the marketplace doesn't force them — "MUG-BLU-12" survives renames and relistings; titles don't.
- Use the status column as a mini pipeline (photos done → drafted → live) and the sheet becomes a launch tracker for free.
- Write titles the way buyers search, not the way your workshop labels things.
It stages listings — it doesn't publish anywhere, and prices are what you plan to charge before fees and taxes, which it deliberately doesn't compute.

Common questions
- Do I really need SKUs?
- The moment you have two blue mugs in different sizes, yes. It's your own short code per variant, and future-you depends on it.
- Prices with or without marketplace fees?
- This sheet holds what the buyer sees. What fees do to margin is worth knowing — from your own math or the marketplace's calculator, not from this sheet.
- One sheet per sales channel?
- The channel field supports either. One combined sheet stays honest longer for small catalogs.
